Site-Eye were last month (April 2017) commissioned by Sky Sports to film London Wembley Stadium’s quick transformation into an state of art boxing rink, to host the World’s heavyweight boxing title bout between current Champion Anthony Joshua and challenger Wladimir Klitschko.
Joshua v Klitschko was a spectacular heavyweight title fight, capturing the whole nation. Site-Eye were offered an excellent opportunity to showcase the transformation at the iconic London stadium which was to be in the epicenter of the global boxing arena.
The main challenge was to convert the famous London Wembley stadium into an ultra modern 90,000 capacity boxing arena in the space of a few days. Site-Eye was present at the stadium from day one, with several 4K cameras making sure we covered all the angles of this major international sports events. As you all probably know… forwarding to the final result: Watford born, Anthony Joshua won the title by knocking out Wladimir Klitschko in the 11th round.
